Storyline: A Christ-Centered Journey Through Your Story

Hosted by Between Grief & Glory
There is a place for your story.

A safe place. A sacred place. A Christ-centered place.

Most women carry pain they’ve never spoken aloud.

They’ve endured trauma, grief, church wounds, confusion, or seasons of numbness — yet very few have a confidential, tender place to process these things with God and with others.

Instead, they’ve been handed Christian clichés:

“God’s got this.”
“You just need more faith.”
“At least it’s not worse…”

And so they learn to remain quiet. They learn to cope. They learn to survive.

Maybe that’s been you, too.

If you feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed by your own story, or longing for a deeper experience of God’s presence, you are not alone — and you do not have to walk this road alone anymore.

There is a gentle, structured way to explore your story in light of God's story.

Welcome to Storyline.

  • attunement

  • and deep respect for your story

This is not therapy.

This is not advice-giving.

This is an invitation to be seen, to slow down, to tell the truth, and to encounter God gently and honestly in the places you often avoid.

What You’ll Experience

Over 9 weeks, you’ll gently explore:

✞ Trust — learning to trust God and safe community

✞ Grief — naming losses you’ve carried alone

✞ Identity — who you are beneath coping and survival

✞ Repentance — not shame-based, but healing-based

✞ Calling — discovering where God is leading

✞ Harm — acknowledging the real wounds in your story

✞ Hope — celebrating God’s presence in your story

Each session includes reflection, guided questions, group dialogue, and Christ-centered practices.

You will never be rushed, pushed to share, or asked to go deeper than feels safe.

The Holy Spirit leads.
We follow gently.

Group Size: 8 Women Maximum

This ensures:

  •  emotional safety
  •  deeper sharing
  •  calm pacing
  •  meaningful connection
  •  trauma-informed facilitation

Groups under 8 are still beautiful — but no group will exceed 8.

"Working with Paris was the first time I felt safe telling the truth about my story. I came in feeling ashamed, stuck, and spiritually numb. Through her gentle questions and trauma-informed guidance, I began to understand the parts of my story I had avoided for years.

Paris never rushed me, never pushed me beyond what I could hold. She helped me see God’s presence in places I had assumed He abandoned me. I’ve experienced more healing in these months with her than in years of trying to ‘fix myself’ alone. I now move through my life with a deeper sense of hope, honesty, and connection with the Lord."

M., age 38

"I’ve been in ministry for decades, yet I had never slowed down long enough to acknowledge the pain and harm in my own story. Paris created a space where I felt seen, respected, and understood — something I didn’t realize I needed so desperately.

Her biblical and trauma-informed approach helped me name wounds I’d carried silently and invited me into a relationship with Jesus that feels tender and real again. For the first time in many years, I feel hopeful and connected to my own heart. Paris is a gift to the Church, and this work is holy."

L., age 60

Why I Lead Storyline

A note from Paris

When I entered the biblical trauma informed certification program, I thought I was simply coming to be better equipped for ministry — especially for the children I serve as a chaplain in our local jail. I expected more tools, more knowledge, more training.

But instead, the Lord invited me into something far deeper.

It was the first time I slowed down enough to truly look at the harm in my own story — the places of suffering, the patterns I thought I had “moved on from,” and the brokenness I had carried quietly for years. I realized how often I lived in my head, consuming spiritual information and assuming it would eventually transform me… while my heart remained guarded, overwhelmed, and unseen.

The storyline process gently opened my heart in a way nothing else had.
It helped me acknowledge evil I had endured, name grief I had minimized, and truly see the Lord’s presence in places I once avoided. It revealed my deep need for empathy — both to receive it and to offer it — even if it only comes in small, holy 20-minute windows.

This work changed my walk with God. It slowed me down.
It humbled me.
It restored me.
And it helped me understand His nearness in a way that continues to shape my life.

This is why I lead Storyline cohorts now.

Because I know what it feels like to suffer alone, to be given Christian clichés instead of compassion, and to feel like you’re doing something wrong because your pain hasn’t “healed” on a timeline others expected. I know the ache of longing for a safe, confidential space where your story is not too much, too messy, or too misunderstood.

Storyline was that space for me — a place where truth, tenderness, and transformation were held together by the presence of Jesus.

And it’s my honor to offer that same space to you.

If you’re longing to feel seen, held, guided, or reconnected with God…
If you're tired of knowing but not changing…
If you feel stuck or overwhelmed by your own story…

You are welcome here.
There is room for your heart.
There is hope for your story.

And you don’t have to walk it alone.

Paris, Between Grief & Glory

"Paris brought an immediate sense of safety and calm to our conversations. She leaned in without hesitation to the deeper places of my story, guiding me with intuitive wisdom toward the parts of my pain that needed attunement. Her gentle, Spirit-led presence created space for true healing, and I’m deeply grateful for how she held my heart with such care."

— W., age 55

There is room for your story here.

If you’re longing for a safe, sacred space to slow down, tell the truth, and meet God in the places you’ve carried alone — I would be honored to walk with you.

Your story matters. Your heart matters.
And you don’t have to heal in isolation anymore.
