Join me for a free, 2-day online guided live experience, 2 hours each day: here your calling is not in question, but the weight you have been carrying alone finally has a name, and you begin to understand why the same patterns keep surfacing no matter how faithful you have been.

You have been calling it a faith issue, but that may not be all that’s happening.
If praying more or trusting harder could have resolved this, it likely would have by now.
You have been faithful. You have done the work. And still, something keeps resurfacing.
It looks like:
→ replaying a counseling session, staff meeting, or Sunday morning exchange long after it is over
→ sitting with your Bible open and still feeling a distance from the Lord you cannot explain
→ shutting down in private in ways you never would in public, wondering why the gap between those two versions of you keeps widening
And the part no one in ministry says out loud?
You are already doing what you know to do.
Praying.
Returning to Scripture.
Staying grounded in your calling.
Yet the same patterns keep appearing.
Different conversation.
Same shutdown.
Same spiral.
And because you are the one who is supposed to know better, you start asking questions you would never say from the pulpit:
“Why does this keep happening?”
“What is wrong with me spiritually?”
“Why can I hold space for everyone else’s suffering but struggle to reconcile God’s promises with my own experience?”
Here is what may actually be true:
These reactions are not random, and they are not evidence of weak faith.
They are learned patterns formed in moments you were never given the tools to process—which is why trying harder, praying more, or gaining more ministry knowledge has not reached them.
And what I realized is this:
You can love God deeply, be rooted in truth, and have given years of faithful service to His people…
AND still find yourself carrying a weight you cannot name, returning to the same patterns you cannot explain, and privately wondering why nothing you know seems to reach the places inside you that are still unresolved.
Not because something is wrong with your faith.
But because there are parts of your story
that have never been witnessed, and a burden your position has never allowed you to set down.
DAY 1:
Where Have You Come From?
Finally understand why you keep responding the way you do, even after years of faithful ministry, theological training, and genuine love for the Lord.
We will uncover the patterns, grief, and protective responses that were formed long before you stepped into your calling, so you can see why certain moments still reach you so deeply, and stop measuring your spiritual maturity by reactions you were never taught how to understand.
DAY 2:
Where Are You Going?
Learn how to walk with God inside your story, rather than continuing to lead others through theirs while quietly fleeing from your own.
You will begin to respond differently in real time, not by trying harder or knowing more, but by finally understanding what has been driving your reactions all along, and what it looks like to let the Lord tend to that with you.
And He said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from my mistress Sarai.”

Hello, I’m Paris.
A trauma-informed spiritual director who works with women in pastoral and ministry leadership navigating the tension between the calling they’ve given everything to, and the interior life that has gone without witness.
I create spaces where the woman who tends everyone else finally has somewhere to be tended to herself.
I spent years in the Word, in prayer, and in Biblical counseling training—doing everything I had been taught a faithful woman in ministry should do.
And yet the Lord led me, not away from ministry, but inward toward the kind of care I had spent years learning to give everyone else.
What surfaced often looked small from the outside, but left me overwhelmed, shut down, and quietly wondering what was happening inside me spiritually—even as I continued caring for the women around me.
This is me, I want to understand what's happening inside
Is not:
another Bible study,
where you leave with more notes… but the same reactions
a mindset workshop,
that teaches you what to think, while your body still reacts the same way
more information,
to try to apply when you already feel overwhelmed
or quick answers,
that never actually reach what’s underneath
It is a guided experience:
where your story is slowed down,
so you can finally notice what has been there all along
your themes of harm and goodness are gently uncovered, not judged, rushed, or “fixed”
and God meets you—
right in the middle of what you have been carrying
not past it
not around it
…but within it
You are more to God than what you can do for Him.He wants to tend to you.
He is not waiting on the other side of your depletion for you to recover, regroup, and return to the work. He sees you right now, in the car between appointments, in the quiet after Sunday when everyone has gone home and you are still holding what was brought to you. He is not distant from your wilderness. He has never been. He is in it with you, the same way He was in it with Hagar before she had any reason to believe someone had noticed her there.
God does not merely call women in ministry to care for others.
He delights in caring for them. In tending to them.
In being near to them not as the One who commissioned their work, but as the One who sees what that work has cost them.
What Seen in the Wilderness is built to create is a space where He can finally do that, not in your role, not in your function, not in what you are able to offer anyone else, but in you.
What women experience in this space
If you have been trying to move forward, but something keeps pulling you back, this is where we begin to understand why
this is your invitation to do this differently.
Not with more answers to memorize
But with clarity,
and the Holy Spirit.
After two days together, some women want to stay. Refuge is where that happens.
