When Your Faith Feels Like It’s Unraveling Under the Weight of Grief and Trauma

I help Christian women who feel stuck between church and therapy learn how to safely process their pain with God and walk with Him in the middle of what they are carrying, so they do not have to wait for resolution to experience Him.

Hello, my name is Paris, and I am a trauma-informed spiritual director, mentor, and chaplain who walks with women through hidden grief, and seasons of suffering where faith feels confusing.

This work did not begin as a calling.
It began as my own unraveling.

I know what it is to believe in God—and still feel disoriented, exhausted, and unsure how to move forward, like I was wandering the desert alone.

Now, I guide women in staying connected to God in seasons where nothing makes sense, and no one has shown them how to navigate the journey with Him.

I created this space because I have lived through seasons of deep suffering. Seasons where the answers I once trusted no longer aligned with what I was living.

Where encouragement was not enough. I needed honesty. I needed space. I needed a way to stay with God, without pretending I was okay.

How This Work Was Born in a Crisis of Faith

A Sanctuary for Pain and the Questions It Carries

Suffering doesn’t just change your life.
It can quietly reshape the way you experience God.

What once felt steady may now feel distant, uncertain, or hard to name.

That does not mean your faith is gone.

It means you are in a place that needs honest care.

Here, you are invited to process your pain with God,
without being rushed, minimized, or bypassed.

So healing can happen at the root,
and your faith can become something rooted, lived without confusion, and embodied again.

"I thought something was wrong with me."

"I did not know how to be honest about my pain without feeling like a spiritual failure. I thought something was genuinely wrong with me. Through this work, I learned how to name my sorrow before God, without shame. Now, I do not feel like I have to hide my ache to be held by Him."
